Our Tour:

DAY 1 - Departure from San Cristobal de las Casas at 6:00 AM. At 7:00 AM, departure from Tuxtla Gutierrez to Boca del Cielo Island. Breakfast is not included. Upon arrival, we will take a motorboat across the lagoon. Check into the cabins, enjoy free time at the beach, lunch is included, and later we will take a boat tour of the river mouth to observe a variety of endemic and migratory birds. We will return to watch the sunset. Dinner is not included. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 - At 8:00 AM, breakfast is included. We will then take a one-hour kayak or inflatable raft tour of the estuary, followed by free time until 1:00 PM. We will continue to the ancient Mixe Zoque city of Iglesia Vieja to learn about the history of the ancestral cultures of Chiapas. A picnic lunch is included, and at a convenient time, we will return to Tuxtla Gutierrez or San Cristobal de las Casas.
