At 06:00 hrs. departure from San Cristobal, 07:00 departure from Tuxtla Gutierrez to la Venta canyon wuth breackfast not included on route, we arrive and go down 874 steps in order to arrive to the river and walk in to the water, visit of the beautiful water fall called El Aguacero, time to swim and walk inside of the canyon getting in touch with the nature, seeing rock formations, fossils and stalactites, we do this activity when the level of the river is low, then we continue to "the parrots abyss" lunch not included in the restaurant, after lunch the local guide provide us of the equipement for visit of this beautiful natural pit making a walk inside  to see rock formation, stalatites, vegetation, cave paintings, we get out and take a break and wait the sun set and see hundreds of parrots flying and getting back to this enormous whole to sleep at convenient time head back to San Cristobal de las Casas or Tuxtla Gutierrez. Arriving at 21:00 hrs. Approximately.
