Our Tour:

A half day tour: At 10:00 hrs. Departure to Guelatao and visit of this interesting village surrounded of mountains, the birth place of Benito Juarez, the Zapotec Indian who changed the course of History in Mexico and the whole Latin American Continent. On the way one can admire the beauty of the Sierra Madre Mountains with heights of more than eleven thousand feet above sea level. This tour includes the Museum and the Enchanted Lagoon and the baroque church from the XVI century of Santo Tomas Ixtlán, only 2 kilometers away from Guelatao. Return to Oaxaca.
Time of visit: 4 and a half hour.
